British Airways upgrades first class Cabin and on-board technology

British Airways bucks the trend of current airlines by spending millions on its new first-class product. The airline released its new first class improvements at a time when other carriers are reducing the product and the number of first class seats in their aircraft.  Improvements to lie-flat bed include 60% more room at the shoulders. New features also include a leather-bound writing desk that converts into a dining table, a USB port, wide screen play on demand personal video, electronic blinds and a personal wardrobe.
